Soviet Order of the Red Star #3729490
Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.20 mm in width; 45.54 mm in height and weighs 29.5 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post. The minimum known serial number is 3084250 and the maximum is 3746708.
This original order is in excellent condition with all details crisp. The red enamel is problem free with few dings or scratches. Its screw has not been shortened and the order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.
This order hasn’t been researched but chances are it was awarded for defeating the Afghan War (e.g. #3728483, #3729643).

The Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
