Order of the Red Star #2976480
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.56 mm in width, 46.69 mm in height and weighs 29.3 grams. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This order is in excellent condition with its details crisp and few traces of wear. The red enamel is well preserved with a few contact marks only. Both sides show a light toning to the silver and its screw has not been shortened. Its well fitted nut is time period to the order.
The Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service; prior to the creation of the long service awards.
