Soviet Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.51 mm in width; 46.03 mm in height and weighs 31.9 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This order is in decent condition with medium wear on the center medallion. The enamels have several small dings and scratches and a superficial flake on the 12 o’clock ray of the red star. Its screw has not been shortened and there have been no repairs.
The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
