For destroying an enemy machine-gun position by the fire of his anti-tank rifle which enabled further advance of the infantry
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.73 mm in width and 45.81 mm in height. The order weighs 30.9 gram without its screwplate. The serial number is located at the 6 o’clock position and the mint mark on the 12 o’clock position of its reverse.
This original order of the Red Star is in an excellent, well above average condition. The details are all crisp and the enamels problem free with very few contact marks only. There have been no repairs and the screw is full length. It comes with a well fitted and time period screwplate.

Comrade GODUN exhibited examples of courage and bravery during the strong enemy defence line breakthrough operation near the town Gorokhuv on 13 July 1944. Our rifle units were attacking, but the advance was inhibited by an enemy firing position. Then, comrade GODUN advanced to a forward line and destroyed the enemy machine-gun position by the fire of his anti-tank rifle. This effort enabled further advance of our infantry.
He deserves a state award – order “RED STAR”.
