“Thanks to skillful leadership and care, the material part of the combat and wheeled vehicles of the regiment was well prepared for the performance of the combat missions to break through the German defenses on the Narew River and subsequent battles to destroy the enemy’s cut-off East Prussian grouping. The task was completed successfully. Comrade Seleznev promptly led and organized mechanical assistance in the elimination of malfunctions or damage directly on the battlefield. In battle, he behaves boldly and decisively.
He is worthy of a governmental award – order – Patriotic War 1st class.”
