Soviet Order of the Red Star #2047737
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.85 mm in width, 46.38 mm in height and weighs 29.1 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This original order is in excellent condition with most details visible and light wear to the silver medallion. The red enamels are beautiful and show some small contact marks only. Both sided show a medium patina and its screw has not been shortened. The order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.
Most likely awarded in the the second half ’45 so with nice research potential.
The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
