Awarded to Master Sergeant Stanislav Antonovich Vishnevsky (Станислав Антонович Вишневский)
For eliminating 8 German solders and helping disarm another 250 during street fighting in Berlin
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.31 mm in width, 46.05 mm in height and weighs 31.7 grams without its screwplate. The serial number is located at the 6 o’clock position and the mint mark on the 12 o’clock position of its reverse.
In excellent overall condition with a fair amount of detail still visible and and well preserved free enamels without chips or repairs. Its screw has not been shortened and the order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.

Brief and specific description of the personal feat or merits:
Guards Sergeant Major Vishnevsky participated in the battles for the city of Berlin, Dresden, and the liberation of the Czechoslovak Republic. Constantly located at the battalion command post, he ensured a complete, timely and accurate accounting of personnel losses, promptly reported them to the brigade headquarters, and also compiled operational reporting documents, which contributed to the battalion’s combat success. As a result of persistent work in difficult combat operations, the battalion’s accounting and reporting are excellent. In street battles in the city of Berlin, he personally took part in the annihilation of enemy submachine gunners and Panzerfaust shooters, who had taken up residence in houses, while annihilating 8 Germans and participating in the disarmament of 250 Germans.
For exemplary performance of command assignments, courage and bravery in battle, he is worthy of the governmental award of the order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class.
