Awarded to Sergeant Nikolay Efimovich Abrosimov (Николай Ефимович Абросимов)
For providing uninterrupted movie service for the personnel of the division during rest and risking his life on several occasions saving the vehicle from artillery fire during the Battle of Berlin
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.78 mm in width, 45.48 mm in height and weighs 31.5 gram without its screwplate. The serial number is located at the 6 o’clock position and the mint mark on the 12 o’clock position of its reverse.
This original order of the Red Star is in excellent, above average condition. The details are mostly visible and the enamels problem free and beautiful. There have been no repairs and the screw is full length. It comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.

“Comrade ABROSIMOV has been working as a driver at the division recreation unit since March 1944. In the work he proved himself to be a brave, disciplined and courageous warrior.
Comrade ABROSIMOV, with his good care of the auto-club machine, provided uninterrupted movie service for the personnel of the division during their rest in between the fightings.
In preparation for the assault and capture of the city of BERLIN in the ROSTOCK district, after showing a motion picture, when the 58th Guards Tank Brigade came under artillery fire from the enemy, he skillfully took the vehicle out of the fire, risking his life.
On the way to the 65th light artillery brigade in the suburbs of BERLIN, comrade ABROSIMOV came under artillery fire from the enemy, skillfully removed the vehicle from the shelling and provided a film show in the brigade.
The auto-club machine has covered more than 11,000 km without major repairs, thanks to the good care of the driver ABROSIMOV.
For his courage and excellent work and for the good care of the auto-club machine, he deserves the governmental award of the order “RED STAR”.”
