Made of silver and enamels. Measures 36.80 mm in width, 47.75 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 34.9 gram without suspension.
In nice condition with most gold plating still present. Its details are all crisp and the enamels well preserved apart from a minuscule, superficial chip on the bottom star, barely visible with the naked eye. Its double layer suspension and ribbon are time period to the order and its connection ring has not been cut.
The order comes with its booklet, which mentions only this particular award only. Some kids seem to have laid their hands on it, as some pen marks are visible on two of the pages.
The order of the Red Banner of Labor was established as the civilian counterpart of the military Order of the Red Banner and was awarded for exceptional working achievements.
