Order of the Red Banner of Labor #23069

 

Awarded in 1943 to Kubra Yahya Farajeva (Кюбра Яхья Фараджева)

 

Minister of health of the Azerbaijan SSR

 

 

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 37.34 mm in width, 50.23 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 38.4 gram without its suspension. The minimum known serial number is 21016 and the maximum number is 26568.

 

This order is in superb condition with full gold plating and crisp details. The enamels are beautiful and flawless without scratches, chipping or repairs. The order comes with a time period suspension and ribbon and its connection ring has not been cut.

 

A truly beautiful example of one of the first suspension type variations with excellent research. Rare as such

 

Short biography on Farajeva:

Kubra Farajova was born on May 16, 1907 in Guba. In 1931-1979 she was the organizer and teacher of the Kurdamir girls’ school, deputy commissioner of public health of the Azerbaijan SSR, instructor in the Central Committee of the AKP, secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR, worked in positions of minister of health of the Azerbaijan SSR, N.K. Director of the Krupskaya Institute for Maternal and Child Health and more.

Her study was mainly devoted to the physical development of children, the protection of mothers and children.

She was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (2nd convocation) and the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR (2-3rd convocation). She also had a role in the training of scientific personnel.
