For capturing a German soldier and a machine-gun, and destroying a dugout killing 10 enemy troops during a night mission on November 3-4, 1942. Later, he led a scouts detachment that destroyed enemy cannons and vehicles, and personally eliminated 2 enemy pillboxes and captured an officer. Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 40.24 mm in height, 36.47 mm in width and weighs 22.9 grams without its screwplate. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
The order is in nice, above average condition with medium overall wear. The raised parts such as the center wreath and the torch still show their details perfectly well. The enamels are generally well preserved and in better condition than most early screwback Red Banners. It only shows some loss on one ray of the center red star and a small chip on the lower side of the banner. The white enamels are essentially flawless. Its reverse is in pristine condition without dings and scratches and shows a stunning patina to the silver. The order has not been converted and the screwpost is full length. It comes with its time period and well fitted silver screwplate.
