Awarded to Major Ivan Akimovich Tetryatnik (Иван Акимович Тетерятник)
For 20 years service in the Red Army
Major Tetryatnik distinguished himself on the Japanese front, killing 10 Japanese soldiers, for which he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class
Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 45.80 mm in height including its eyelet, 37.64 mm in width and weighs 22.7 grams without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
The order is in nice, about average condition with moderate wear and a medium dark patina on both sides. Both the white and red enamels are without repairs but show several dings and scratches. The order comes with a double layer steel suspension and uncut connection ring.
