For flying dozens of combat mission and inflicting large losses to the enemy in East-Prussia: several vehicles, dozens of troops and an ammunition depot
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 45.05 mm in height, 37.40 mm in width and it weighs 27.6 grams without its suspension. The serial number and curved mint mark are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
In a decent, worn condition with medium wear to the higher laying parts like the center wreath. Most details are still visible and both sides show veveral small dings and scratches but nothing destracting from its overall appeal. The white enamel is flawless and the red enamel shows a small repair on the left side of the top banner. This is done professionally and barely noticeable with the naked eye. Its connection ring has been cut and the order comes with its old double layer steel suspension.

“He arrived in the regiment in December 1944 to complete the retraining course for the IL-2 aircraft assault aviation. He graduated from the retraining program successfully with good and excellent grades, without having any flight violations and breakdowns.
In the process of combat work, he made 25 successful sorties to attack enemy personnel and equipment. All tasks of the command are carried out honestly and conscientiously. He acts boldly and decisively over the battlefield. When attacking, with its powerful machine-gun and cannon fire, it suppresses the enemy’s firepower and destroys his manpower from low-level flight. Throughout combat work, he shows examples of courage, fearlessness and calmness.
01/19/1945 during the next combat sortie as part of 6 IL-2s in the area of Stallupenen to destroy the accumulation of enemy personnel and equipment he managed to suppress two field guns, two vehicles with military cargo were set on fire and up to 10 enemy soldiers and officers were destroyed. The task was accomplished perfectly.
02/20/1945 as part of 6 IL-2, in the Tsinten area, he destroyed the enemy’s mortar positions and as a result of a bold and decisive action, he destroyed and damaged two vehicles with military cargo, 1 armored personnel carrier, partially destroyed a platoon of enemy infantry and detonated a direct hit from bombs 1 ammunition warehouse. Comrade Trofimov received a gratitude letter from the command for the excellent performance of the combat mission.
03/25/1945 took a direct part in a massive raid to destroy enemy infantry in the Rosenberg area, where he successfully attacked mortar positions with bold actions, suppressing them with his powerful machine-gun and cannon fire. As a result, he destroyed: 4 vehicles with military cargo, the fire of one battery was suppressed and a brick building was destroyed by a direct hit, where the enemy’s fire weapons were located.
