Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The medallion itself measures 42.65 mm in width, 46.73 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 26.1 grams without its suspension and 34.7 grams with suspension but without its nut. The suspension measures 32.14 mm in width at its widest point and 21.19 mm in height at its narrow part (without the eyelet). The serial number is located at the 7 o’clock position on the reverse.
In a nice, well above average condition considering it is an early production. Its details are perfectly visible and much of the original gold plating to the lettering and edges of the red star is still present. The white enamels are all present and the red enamels are beautiful without problems apart from a small chip on the very tip of the 12 o’clock ray. All parts are original including its suspension, stickpin, rectangular plate, small hexagon nut and screwplate featuring ‘Monetnij Dvor’. There have been no repairs and its connection ring has not been cut.
Early piece with all original parts and in relatively good condition. Scarce as such!
