Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 26.3 grams without its screwplate and measures 43.94 mm in width and 45.88 mm in height.
In excellent, above-average condition with all details crisp and light overall wear. The enamels are very well preserved without chipping and scratches and are free from repairs. The order includes its original, period-correct screwplate, and the screw post remains full length.
The rivets holding the separately added gold hammer and sickle on the back are folded, not cut. The piece tests as 14k gold and isn’t one of the cap-pin replacements. Who attached the hammer and sickle and why the pins weren’t cut remains unclear.
