For destroying 2 firing points and 23 German soldiers at the outskirts of the city of Sevastopol
Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 29.2 grams without its screwplate and measures 44.76 mm in width and 47.96 mm in height.
In excellent, well above average condition with crisp details and a stunning patina to the silver on its reverse. The red and white enamels are very well preserved and show almost no dings and scratches. The gold hammer and sickle is original and firmly attached and the order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate. There have been no repairs and its screw has not been shortned.

On height 109.6. at the outskirts of the city of Sevastopol, Comrade Klimkin destroyed 2 firing points and 23 German soldiers. For exemplary performance of combat missions and the demonstrated courage of Comrade Klimkin, he is worthy of the government award of the Order of the Red Star.
