Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 22.9 gram without its screwplate and measures 45.06 mm in width and 47.53 mm in height.
This original order of the Patriotic War 2nd class is in nice condition with crisp details. The enamel of the 9 o’clock and the 3 o’clock of the red star have been professionally repaired but is otherwise fine. It comes with its original, time period screwplate and its screw is full length.

Aide to the commander of 5th Guards motorised rifle brigade for supplies.
Jewish, Party member, in war since 22.06.1941, one wound and one contusion.
Despite all the difficulties caused by combat operations, Comrade SHIKHANOVICH provided all the brigade units with ammunition and food supplies during the battles near the village Dneprovka – Kamenka, Zaporozhie region, during he enemy defence breakthrough.
During the forced crossing of rivers Konka and Dnieper, comrade SHIKHANOVICH, realising all the importance and difficulties of the supply of the fighting units, organised the local population for delivering the ammunitions to the crossing point. This assisted to perform Dnieper crossing in timely manner.
There has never been any supply problems in the brigade during comrade SHIKHANOVICH watch.
