In superb condition with an appealing patina to the silver and gold base on both sides. The details are all perfectly crisp and even the higher laying parts like the hammer and sickle show almost no signs of wear. Both the white and red enamels are stunning and without repairs with some contact marks and a minor chip on the very tip of the 3 o’clock ray of the red star only. Its screw has not been shortened and is extremely long which is seen only with these very early screwback types. The silver screwplate fits perfectly well and is original to the award.
Excellent example of a very early screwback Order of the Patriotic war!
