Quite an high award for a private
Made of solid silver and gold. The medal measures 44.10 mm in width, 47.39 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 27.9 gram without its suspension. The suspension is 32.70 mm in width at its widest point and 21.68 mm in height. The serial number is located at the 7 o’clock position on its reverse. The suspension ring, screwplate, hexagon nut, pressure plate and the suspension itself are all original.
This original order of the Patriotic War is in excellent, far above average condition. The details are crisp and the order has not been (re)converted. The enamels are problem free and show some contact marks and scratches only, quite rare for early Orders of the Patriotic War. Its reverse is in great condition as well and its connection ring has not been cut.
Hard to upgrade in this condition. Rare as such!
