The group consists of the following items:
Order of the October Revolution #24760
Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. It measures 43.73 mm in height, 43.32 mm in width and weighs 31.2 gram without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the centre of the reverse. This early variation with 4 rivets is made out of three parts; the base piece, the pentagon centre piece showing the Aurora cruiser and the gold hammer and sickle.
This original order is in nice condition with crisp details and problem free enamels. At some point in time the gold hammer and sickle was either removed or lost and replaced by another one which is not authentic to the order. Its connection ring has not been cut and the suspension is time period to the order.
The award comes with its original booklet in excellent condition mentioning this Order of the October Revolution only. The booklet is numbered ‘Ж 839885’.
Order of the Red Banner of Labor #509331
Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 47.67 mm in height, 36.91 mm in width and weighs 35.7 gram without its suspension. The mint mark Monetni Dvor is located at the centre of the reverse and the serial number at its bottom.
In excellent condition with flawless enamels and crisp details. Most of the gold plating is still present and the higher laying parts show light wear. The suspension and ribbon are time period to the award and its connection ring has not been cut.
It comes with its original booklet in excellent condition mentioning this order only. The booklet is numbered ‘E 028683’.
