Very early ‘flatback’ variation (apx end 1943 / early 1944)

Made of silver and enamels. It measures 34.16 mm in width, 49.23 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 36.6 grams without its suspension. The minimum known serial number for this variation is 32607 and the maximum is 59488.

The order is in an excellent, well above average condition with much gold plating still present. Its details are still crisp and the order shows minor wear on its higher laying parts. The enamels are stunning and without repairs, chipping or scratches. The order comes with its time period double layer suspension and uncut connection ring.

Scarce piece with nice research potential

This order conferred on citizens of the USSR for “outstanding achievements in production, scientific research and social and cultural activity”.
