Rare screwback variation
This original order is made of silver and enamels. It measures 33.98 mm in width, 46.65 mm in height and weighs 36.9 gram without its screwplate. The minimum known serial number for this variation is 16119 and the maximum 31659.
The order is in an excellent, well above average condition for a screwback variation with most details still visible and light wear on its higher laying parts only. The enamels are problem free apart from a minor superficial chip on the top red star, barely noticeable with the naked eye. The order comes with its well fitted silver screwplate and its screw has not been shortened. The order has never been converted to a suspension variation and there have been no repairs. The serial number is engraved at the mint over another number which had been erased.

This order conferred on citizens of the USSR for “outstanding achievements in production, scientific research and social and cultural activity”.Â
