Early ‘flatback’ variationÂ
Made of silver and enamels. It measures 33.43 mm in width, 50.78 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 35.8 grams without its suspension.
The order is in nice overall condition with its details are still crisp and few traces of wear. The enamels are generally well preserved but show a small chip on the top ray of the red star. The separately soldered lettering ‘CCCP’ is authentic to the award and the order comes with its time period double layer suspension and uncut connection ring.
This order conferred on citizens of the USSR for “outstanding achievements in production, scientific research and social and cultural activity”.Â
