Soviet Order of Mother Heroine #91243
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. It measures 32.00 mm in height including its eyelet and 28.03 mm in width. It weighs 12.7 grams without and 16.8 grams with suspension.
The order is in a decent condition with most details visible and medium overall wear. At some point in time the eyelet was broken off and re-attached to the medallion. This is done professionally with silver solder. The enamels on the suspension are fully present and without repairs and its connection ring between the suspension and the medal has not been cut. Its stickpin is fully functional and the gold star is original and made of solid gold.
Interesting note: this piece is the first known with a serial number engraved with a rotating tool according to Mondvor Narod
This title and accompanying medal were awarded to all mothers bearing and raising 10 or more children.
