Soviet Order of Mother Heroine: made of solid gold, silver and enamels. The main medallion measures 31.80 mm in height including the eyelet and 27.94 mm in width. It weighs 12.2 gram without and 16.2 gram with suspension. This variation has a raised mint mark and a hand engraved serial number at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse. The front of the medal shows a solid gold star on a silver background. The suspension is authentic to the medal and measures 26.07 mm in width.
The order is in good condition with crisp details and an appealing patina. The connection ring between the suspension and the medal has not been cut and the stickpin is fully functional although not original to the award. The gold star is solid no replacement.
The award comes with both its original matching large and small booklet and award box. All complete and in a fair but used condition.
