Soviet Order of Mother Heroine #231466
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. It main medallion measures 31.70 mm in height including the eyelet and 27.21 mm in width. It weighs 12.1 gram without and 16.6 gram with suspension. This variation has a raised mint mark and a serial number engraved by a rotating tool. The front of the medal shows a solid gold star on a silver background. The suspension is authentic to the medal and measures 26.86 mm in width.
The order is in excellent condition with sharp details with several small dings and scratches on both sides only. The enamels are all present without repairs and show some small contact marks only. The connection ring between the suspension and the medal has been cut and the stickpin is fully functional. There have been no repairs and the gold star is not a replacement and made of solid gold.
This title and accompanying medal were awarded to all mothers bearing and raising 10 or more children.
