Made of gold plated silver and enamels. Measurements of the medallion without its suspension; 29.51 mm in width, 41.09 mm in height and weighs 21.6 grams.
The order is in excellent, well above average condition with full gold plating. The details are all crisp and the enamel on both the medal and suspension are well preserved without repairs and show a small chip on the top right tip of the suspension only.
This decoration was awarded to all mothers bearing and raising 9 children. It was awarded at the first birthday of the last child. Children who had perished under heroic, military or other respectful circumstances were also counted.
