Made out of solid gold, platinum and enamels. Measures 44.97 mm in height, 38.17 mm in width and it weighs 33.3 gram without its suspension. The engraved serial number and raised mint mark are located at its reverse. The minimum know serial number for this variation is 391120 and the maximum is 462205 with considerable overlapping with the variation with an underlined serial number located at the center of its reverse.
In excellent condition with beautiful and flawless wine red enamels. The grey enamels are equally nice preserved without repairs and its obverse shows few traces of wear. The reverse of the order shows some small dings and scratches but the mint mark and serial number are still well defined. The order comes with its time period suspension and its silver connection ring has not been cut.
The Order of Lenin (Russian: Орден Ленина), named after the leader of the Russian October Revolution, was established by the Central Executive Committee on April 6, 1930. The order was the highest civilian decoration in the Soviet Union. Awarded to:
- Civilians for outstanding services rendered to the State
- Members of the armed forces for exemplary service
- Those who promoted friendship and cooperation between peoples and in strengthening peace
- Those with meritorious services to the Soviet state and society
