Description
Order of Lenin #195127
Leningrad Mint variation, probably awarded in 1951/1952
Made of solid gold, platinum, and enamel. Measures 44.18 mm in height, 39.01 mm in width, and weighs 32.9 grams without its suspension. The stamped serial number and raised mint mark are located at the center of its reverse.
In worn but decent condition. The red enamel shows several internal cracks and small repairs on the top part of the red banner but is otherwise intact. The gold base and Lenin’s platinum bust have well-preserved details. The reverse shows some dings and scratches, most noticeably near the eyelet. The order comes with its period-appropriate suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
With the current gold price (23/01/2025) the intrinsic value alone exceeds the listing priceÂ
