For personally annihilating 2 Germans during a nightly reconnaissance mission at in 1944. The Germans encountered resisted, but could not withstand the daring raid and fled in panic
Krylov was highly decorated with an Order of the Patriotic War 1st & 2nd class and 2 Red Stars
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.33 mm in width, 49.19 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 23.0 grams without its suspension.
This early order is in a nice, above average condition considering it is an early piece. The enamel is all present and problem free and shows some dings and contact marks only. The higher laying parts like the clock in the tower and the wreath surrounding it show medium wear. Its connection ring has been cut and the order comes with a time period double layer steel suspension.

“Senior Sergeant Krylov distinguished himself by his commanding skills in conducting reconnaissance in force at the night of 07/20/1944 in the Levinti village area. Acting as part of a squad, comrade Krylov dared to lead forward, inspiring his subordinates with his personal example. The Germans resisted, but could not withstand the daring raid and fled in panic. In this battle, Comrade Krylov personally annihilated 2 Germans. For skillful leadership and courage shown, he is presented for the governmental award of the Order of “Glory III. Class“.”
