The enamels are very well preserved and without repairs or flaking. Its connection ring has not been cut and its double layer suspension is time period to the order.
The order is accompanied by its document and has all pages present and securely attached to the cover. The document is a duplicate too, as indicated by the “ДУБЛИКАТ” stamp on the second page above the name, and was reissued on 21 November 1974.
Duplicate awards were issued by the Soviet government as replacements – either for earlier types of the same order or medal, or when awards were lost or not given under exceptional circumstances. Such pieces are especially rare.
