Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.72 mm in width, 49.09 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 24.1 grams without its suspension.
This order is in worn but decent condition with several dings and scratches on both sides. The raised areas show strong wear but a fair amount of detail is still visible. The enamels are fully present and without repairs but shows some minor chipping and contact marks. The order comes with a single layer brass suspension and its brass connection ring has been cut.
Brief and specific description of the personal feat or merits:
In the offensive operations of our army for braking through enemy defence during 23-25 January 1945, he was performing evacuation of the dead and the wounded from the battlefield. Despite intensive enemy mortar-artillery and automatic fire, he provided first medical aide to the wounded personnel of not just his unit, but also of other [red. supported] rifle units. In these 3 days, brave medical instructor evacuated 13 wounded soldiers from the battlefield.
