Order of Glory 3rd Class #151634
Awarded to Private Petr Illarionovic Sargosh (Петр Илларионович Саргош)
For street fighting in Berlin and more specific the Reichstag(!) where he eliminated up to a platoon of German soldiers, several machine gun positions and an armoured personnel carrier
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.31 mm in width, 49.33 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 20.6 gram without its suspension.
This order is in great, well above average condition. The enamels are absolutely stunning free and free from chipping or scratches. The higher laying parts like the wreath surrounding the tower show light wear only and most details are still visible. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with its time period suspension and old (wrongly folded) ribbon.
Beautiful early piece with outstanding accomplishments for capturing the Reichstag. Much deisred!
