Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.95 mm in width, 48.88 mm in height and weighs 23.5 grams without its suspension.
In great, above average condition considering it’s an early piece. The enamels are problem free and well preserved without repairs and show some small dings and scratches only. The higher laying parts show light to medium wear and most details are still visible. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with its time period double layer suspension.
Brief and specific description of the personal feat or merits:
Performing a task on the night of May 4, 1944, he crawled to the enemy’s trenches, in the area of the “Bezailyamny” farm and annihilated one enemy machine-gun firing point together with its crew with a grenade. On May 9, 1944, advancing at temporary storage warehouse No. 10 and point “6 Versta” with a bold and decisive throw, he reached an anti-aircraft gun, which fired at our infantry with direct fire and completely annihilated its crew, thereby contributed to the success of our riflemen.
Worthy of the governmental award of the order of “GLORY of the 3rd class”.
