For killing 8 enemy soldiers and taking 3 prisoners. The prisoners later gave valuable intelligence to the higher Command
Order of Glory 2nd class; Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.74 mm in width; 48.82 mm in height and weighs 20.3 gram. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
This original order is in nice but worn condition with most gold plating present. The red enamel is problem free and all present. The higher laying parts of its obverse show medium wear and a few large dings at its tower. The order comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
Scarce award in with interesting research for an appealing price!

“On 21 January 1945, he acted as a part of the reconnaissance squad commanded by the Sr. Sgt. Borodavko, which had an objective to scout the enemy retreat routes and capture a control prisoner. Near Sobień, the group encountered a numerically superior group of enemy troops. Comrade Bulakh was the first to attack the enemy and, with the fire of his submachine-gun and hand grenades, killed 5 enemy soldiers and 2 took prisoner. The prisoner later gave valuable intelligence to the higher Command.
On 22 January 1945, he acted as a part of the reconnaissance squad commanded by the Sr. Sgt. Borodavko, which had an objective to scout the enemy retreat routes and capture a control prisoner. Near Blogie, the recon group encountered the enemy.
Comrade Bulakh, acting in the advance guard point, was the first to spot the enemy and, after letting them to a close distance, opened submachine-gun fire killing 3 and taking 1 prisoner. Comrade Bulakh participated in many reconnaissance missions and proved himself as a courageous and proactive scout.
He has in total on his score: 5 enemy taken prisoner, 15 enemy soldiers killed and one officer taken prisoner. ”
