Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

“Comrade VOLES exhibited exceptional courage, bravery, and military skill during the enemy strong defence breakthrough near Székesfehérvár on 19 March 1945. As the result of a flanking manoeuvre and a decisive attack, comrade VOLES was the first to reach the outskirts of the town and pushed the enemy from their positions. Having lost the advantageous position, the enemy used reinforcements and attacked the company three times.

With great losses, the enemy nonetheless managed to breakthrough on the left flank and cut of the commanders post from the rest of the company. Comrade VOLES personally assumed machine-gunner position and fired point blank at the pushing forward Hitlerites. Having eliminated a large group of Hitlerites, comrade VOLES managed to reunite with his company.

Despite shortage of troops, he repelled three large attacks by a superior enemy force. No ground was given and large casualties were inflicted upon the enemy. On the day of this battle, his company destroyed 10 machine-guns and up to 200 enemy troops. 15 German soldiers were taken prisoner and an artillery depot captured. Personally, comrade VOLES eliminated 20 enemies with the machine-gun fire and 10 more in a melee fight with his hand weapon and grenades.”
