Soviet medal from the Grateful Afghan People
This Grateful Afghan People badge is made of gold plated brass. The badge consists out of two parts; the round medal and the suspension. The main round part measures 32.10 mm in width and 37.07 mm in height, including the eyelet. The weight is 15.7 gram without its suspension.
The badge is in excellent condition and comes with its time period suspension and screwplate. The paint on the Soviet and Afghan banners is beautiful. All details are crisp and the badge shows only no dings and scratches on either side.
