Medal for the Victory over Japan
Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and a straight diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse. Scarce!
Made out of brass. Measures 32.10 mm in width, 37.65 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.4 grams without its suspension.
In decent, about average condition with most details still visible. There are several small dings and scratches on both sides and some of the original luster still present. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and old ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.
