Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945
Comes with its scarce, red covered document awarded to Guards Corporal Petr Iosifovich Moroz
The medal is made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.38 mm in width, 37.52 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.0 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in superb, well above average condition with all details crisp and most gold plating still present. It shows only few small contact marks and the double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal.
These early documents are of noticeably better quality than much more common paper certificates. This example is in nice condition without repairs. There is an individual serial number on the back cover reading No 00033834 and the document is dated 19 June 1945. The red stamp in the booklet is to the 20th Guards Howitzer Artillery Brigade
