Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945

Variation 1b with a separately soldiered eyelet and the word ‘войне’ on its reverse further apart from the curved text ‘Германией’

Medal for the Victory over Germany: made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.19 mm in width, 37.55 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension. 

This medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and much gold plating present. The brass suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.
