Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945
Awarded to NKVD Lt. Aleksander Lukich Golaj (Александр Лукич Голай)
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.30 mm in width, 37.23 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 17.6 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition with relatively few dings and scratches on either side sides. Most details remain visible and a fair amount of gold plating still present. The brass suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
Its accompanying document is in problem free condition and shows his name and its serial number Ц 0257521. Please note the red NKVD stamp (see the picture gallery)
