The medal is made of gilded brass. It measures 32.09 mm in diameter, 37.04 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 17.4 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and most gold plating present. Even the higher laying parts are show little wear. It comes with its time period brass suspension.
The booklet is in problem free condition with no tears or repairs. It is dated 21 March 1950 and numbered ‘No 160454’.
