Soviet Medal for the Restoration of the Black Metallurgy Enterprises of the South
Made out of gilded brass. Measures 32.22 mm in diameter, 37.03 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.3 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and full gold plating. Even the higher laying parts show almost no wear. It comes with its time period brass suspension and old ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet workers of outstanding performance in restoring the Black Metallurgic Enterprises of the Soviet Union which were destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. 13 blast furnaces, 49 open furnaces, 29 finishing mills and 68 coke-oven batteries were restored to effective or outstanding production rates.
