Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of gold plated brass. It measures 32.29 in diameter, 37.07 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.7 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with crisp details and most gold plating present. There are few tiny dings and scratches only and light overall wear. Its aluminium suspension is post war and its connection ring has been cut.
To Soviet service personnel; ‘who took part in the liberation of Warsaw between the 14 and 17 January 1945’.
