Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade
Variation 2 with an U-shaped Eyelet
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.09 mm in width, 37.20 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 17.9 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and most gold plating present. There are few dings and scratches and the double layer suspension is time period to the medal as is its old ribbon.
Beautiful piece and scarce to find. Hard to upgrade in this condition
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.
