Medal for the Defense of the Polar Region: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.27 mm in width, 37.34 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 16.9 gram. 

This medal for the Defense of the Polar Region is in pristine condition with perfect details. All of the gold plating is still present. The double layer brass suspension is time period to the medal.
