Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad WW2
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.21 mm in width, 37.43 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 17.1 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in used condition but a fair amount of details are still present. Both sides show several dings and scracthes and the gold plating has worn off. The medal comes with its time period double layer suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
