Soviet Medal for the Defense of Leningrad with document
Short Horizon variation
Awarded to Guards Captain Stepan Grigorievich Malik (Степан Григорьевич Малик)
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.22 mm in diameter, 37.53 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.7 gram without its suspension.
In nice condition with a strong dark patina and medium overall wear. Both sides show several small dings and scratches but most details are still visible. Its original suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal its connection ring has not been cut.
Comes with its document in used condition with strong folding lines but all 4 quadrants still attached. It is dated 1 June 1943 and is numbered Д 27084
