Medal for the Defense of Leningrad 

Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.04 mm in width, 37.77 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.

In nice condition with most details still visible and some gold plating still present. The medal comes with a brass suspension and its connection ring has been cut.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
