Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’
Made of brass. Measures 32.23 mm in width, 37.83 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with its details perfectly visible and light overall wear. Both sides show few dings and scratches and most of the original luster is still present. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and its connection ring has been cut. It’s ribbon is incorrectly folded which is seen more often with early awarded medals.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.Â
